WILD IMMERSIVE SACRED EDUCATION
Yarah ירה
means to aim, to instruct, to guide; to pour down like rain. It portrays God’s guidance flowing like water from heaven—refreshing, cleansing, and gently shaping the heart of those who seek Him. His instruction and boundaries are intended to be loving and life‑giving. Yarah carries a sense of awe and reverence for God, honoring Him as the all-loving Creator who directs our steps.
Yarah Youth exists to train up a child the way they should go, sending our arrows towards the Lord, so He may direct their paths and they shall not depart from it. Created as a supplemental experience for alternative-schooling families, this twice-a-week program for ages 7-12 is rooted in Christ, Creation and Community.
We aim to help guide children in knowledge of ancestral skills, plant-nourishment and remedies, hard-work, risk taking, and tending the animals and earth with joy and song.
We believe that the wisdom imparted to us from the beginning by the Creator is of as much value now, if not moreso today than ever before. We believe in rolling on His rhythms, following the seasons and looking to the Heavens for the echoes of Scripture. Stewarding the land, connecting with nature and forming a firm foundation of faith was part of the Original Plan. At Yarah we believe it is what is integral today to tend the next generation as well as ourselves.
